La Plaza SA is a bilingual community + local business directory. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
We aim to be transparent and to honor applicable consumer privacy rights, including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act/Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) when they apply.
We collect information you provide and information generated by your use of the site.
Examples: name or nickname, phone/WhatsApp, ZIP code, business details, event submissions, and messages submitted via forms.
Basic technical data such as browser type, device type, and pages you view may be logged by our hosting provider for security and performance.
We also use first-party, aggregated analytics to understand which pages and listings are used (for example: page views and button clicks). We do not use this for targeted advertising and we do not store full IP addresses in our analytics tables.

To respond to submissions, verify listings, and provide support.
To prevent abuse, fraud, and spam; and to maintain site security.
We do not sell personal information in the ordinary sense. If we ever enable targeted advertising or data sharing that qualifies as a “sale” or “share” under applicable law, we will provide a clear opt-out.
